Mechanical Equipment Assembly In Green Bay
2nd Shift
Job Responsibilities
  • Ability to organize and sort components and subassemblies for efficient assembly.
  • Working understanding of geometric tolerances.
  • Understanding of metrology and how to measure/gauge critical component fits and clearances.
  • Setting tensions on chain and belt drives.
  • Proper torqueing procedures
  • Alignment of shafts and couplings (use of indicators)
  • Understanding and measurement of gears (to include measuring gear diameters using pins)• Bearing/seal identification, recommended use, installation and removal techniques.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-3 years mechanical OEM assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret 3D drawings and blueprints
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and cutting equipment
  • Ability to use forklift
