Employee Benefits

All full time employees (averaging 36 hours per week) are eligible for the following:

Paid Holidays

  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

Eligibility shall begin following 90 consecutive calendar days of employment. Holiday pay shall be 8 hours pay at your established straight time rate in effect the week the holiday occurs. To receive holiday pay, you must work the scheduled working day immediately before the holiday and the scheduled working day immediately after the holiday, unless an absence is approved by Argus and your supervisor (prior to the holiday). Holiday pay is not prorated upon termination or layoff.

Paid Vacation

One week paid vacation is available for full time employees:

  • after 1 year of employment, and
  • after 2080 hours during any 2 year period.
Two weeks paid vacation is available for full time employees:
  • after 3 years of employment, and
  • after 6240 hours during any 4 year period.
Earned vacation can only be taken in full day or weekly increments. To qualify, you must work an average of 40 hours per week. Vacation pay is not prorated upon termination or layoff.

Note: If an employee terminates (voluntarily or involuntarily) and is reassigned by Argus within one month period (30 days), all earned benefits (Vacation and Holiday Pay) will be reinstated.

Referral Bonus

Any current or past Argus employee referring a person(s) to Argus will be eligible for a $50 gift certificate to a restaurant for each referral. The following conditions must be met:

  • Referred person must work for Argus a minimum of 480 hours.
  • Past or current employee must notify a representative of Argus of the referral, prior to assignment.

401K Plan

Employees of Argus are eligible for a 401K profit sharing plan after 1 year of service. Participants must be 21 years of age and work 1000 hours per year to participate. Additional information is available upon request.
