A Covid-19 Update From Our President
During the Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis the largest concern of Argus Technical Services is the health and safety of our customers, employees, and our candidates throughout Wisconsin. We are actively monitoring COVID-19 updates from the CDC and WHO and adjusting our practices swiftly and accordingly.
 
We also recognize that this time presents a great deal of uncertainty to businesses and employees. We’ve transitioned from the lowest unemployment rates the nation has ever seen to concerns about job security in a matter of weeks.
 
While many businesses are reducing their output, just as many are ramping up production to support the specialized needs this health crisis presents. We need to support each other in these trying times. To help, Argus Technical Services is taking the following steps:
 
Ensuring the safety and well-being of our communities.
We’re working closely with each of our job sites to monitor their individual needs and ensure all employees  from Argus Technical Services have the necessary safety information and equipment to combat Covid-19.
 
Helping our vital Wisconsin manufacturers meet new demands posed by Covid-19.
We know that Wisconsin houses vital manufacturers in specific sectors, such as those that support the  healthcare industry and those that create remote workforce tools, that have needed to increase production in response to Covid-19. To alleviate their challenges, we are actively building a base of temporary workers to deploy on short notice.
 
Helping people weather the storm with temporary employment.
Many people have indefinitely lost their jobs and are struggling to sustain themselves and their families.  We’re putting a special emphasis on trying to connect those who have been displaced with temporary  employment to help them work through the outbreak. To help we’ve set up a special application portal for people displaced by Covid-19 to apply for temporary work. We also have someone standing by at 414-774-5996 ready to assist over the phone.
 
Looking ahead at the challenges we face.
We’re closely monitoring the situation and plan to adjust our approach based on the developments we see.  We’re already considering ways to help extend temporary work for both our candidates and our clients if the  situation does not resolve itself quickly.
 
Argus Technical Services has been supporting Wisconsin since 1975. We’ve witnessed the perseverance and heartiness of our state firsthand. We will work through the challenges together because we’re all in this together.Thank you and stay safe!
