Things To Do Before Interview
Find out as much as you can know about the company or organization - type of business, its size, its competitors, generally how good the market is for its products or services.
Be sure you're familiar with your personal fact sheet - the one the interviewer has - so you don't trip over dates or past job descriptions.
Call ahead for directions, to avoid getting lost and being late. In fact, it's best to be early.
Take a folder that contains a copy of your resume, letter(s) of recommendation and a list of reference. Bring your portfolio with samples of work, if applicable.
Whether the company you're applying to, your appearance has a tremendous influence on the success of the interview. So dress accordingly, and wear your best positive attitude.
Be neat, with clean hair and nails. Women should keep their make-up on the quiet side, with no heavy distracting perfumes.
