The best source of confidence is being prepared. Have answers ready for the questions
you'll most likely be asked.
For instance:
- Tell me about yourself. (Use the information in your fact sheet or resume.)
- What do you think your strenghts and weakness are?(Be honest about your good points,
but don't brag. And don't overdo your faults.)
- What starting salary do you expect?(Have at least a general idea.)
- What do you feel you have to offer to the job?(Talk about experience and abilities,
or even aptitudes pertinent to the job.)
- How did your previous employer treat you?(Again, be honest, or you risk being a
"complainer".)
Interviews are two-way street. On the one hand, it gives the employer an opportunity to
get to know you. On the other hand, it gives you the opportunity to get to know the
employer. Think about all the other things you'd like to know about someone who was going
to work for you, and get answers ready. Be polite and sincere. Remember you're talking to
someone who can give you a job, not someone who' an enemy.
