Plan and implement preventative and corrective maintenance and repair activities related to automation and controls, so that the plant's production lines, and equipment operate reliably and according to strongest safety and quality standards of the company, local codes, laws and regulations.

  • Plan and implements the assigned activities to meet maintenance schedules and performance targets.
  • Develops standard methods for troubleshooting electrical, automation, controls and instrumentation issues as well as for replacing, setting and starting controls equipment.
  • Contributes to RCFA, FMEA and continuous improvement to improve overall performances.
  • Analyzes electrical, automation and controls related issues and proposes scenarios to solve them.
  • Trains and makes sure that the electrical maintenance technicians get the highest and up to date competences for automation, controls and instrumentation.
  • Document all activities.
  • Interacts and cooperates with production, process engineering and quality to aligh goals and priorities.

Education and Experience:

  • BS Electrical Engineering or equivalent education/work experience
  • Proficient with MS Office, Allen Bradley, RSLogix 5000, Indusoft, AutoCAD Electrical
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of control and electrical system designs and its application in automated industrial designs including specification of vision, power, sensor, inspection, and communication systems.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment.
