‍Duties and Responsibilities:

 Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to supply chain professionals to drive performance and achieve company objectives

 Manage company inventory and restocking levels, forecast inventory and distribution requirements

 Ensure critical processes run effectively and efficiently to achieve organizational goals and performance

 Place vendor purchase orders to meet customer demand and replenish inventory levels

 Follow up and expedite open purchase orders

 Negotiate terms, pricing and delivery with suppliers

 Maximize margins and cost savings

 Develop, evaluate, manage relationships with new and existing suppliers

 Manage qualification of new sources

 Manage performance evaluation of vendors

 Manage inbound shipments with suppliers

 Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Quality, Finance, Warehouse to align supply chain activities with company goals

 Foster and grown relationships cross-functionally to influence and lead solution-oriented strategies  

 Prepare and present supply chain reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommendations for improvement

Requirements:  

 Positive attitude and attention to detail.

 Must be highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work well under pressure

 Strong business and financial acumen

 Proficient in Windows environment, including Microsoft Word, Excel, ERP or other pertinent software

JOB DESCRIPTION ‍

 Bachelor’s degree in purchasing & supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or a related field and minimum 10 years related experience

 Previous experience in leading and building a team is required.  

 Proven experience in interaction with suppliers is a requirement

 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, relationship management, and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating across different functions and departments

 Must have deep functional experience in supply/demand planning and direct spend category management

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to lead teams and make data-driven decisions

 Demonstrated ability to develop supplier strategies aimed at the development of a long-term viable supply base

Training:

 Initial Training as outlined in the Training Manual

 Annual/Recurrent Training as posted on the Training Log, S3RS--FM-100

 Pentagon Basics

 Export & ITAR compliance  

 Human Factors

 Accomplishing work under EASA approval
