Electric Assembler
POSITION SUMMARY:
Requires electrical strengths in industrial electrical assembly and start-up. Also, works with mechanical and pneumatic assemblies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Diagnose faults and repair systems.
Install, update and debug system assemblies.
Calibrate/set up equipment to required mechanical tolerances.
Read all types of electrical prints for wiring and testing on all equipment.
Wire all various electrical components used on equipment.
Design and build test equipment for various modules.
Provide technical support to customers and service department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school in electronics.
Three to five years experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
TRAINING NECESSARY TO PERFORM JOB:
Blueprint and electrical drawings.
Hydraulic and pneumatic circuit drawings.
Office and shop safety training
Problem solving skills training
Team skills training
