Duties and Responsibilities:

-Create complete and accurate drawing packages.

-Insure timely release of complete and accurate work.

-Engage in effective, innovative designs for superior, cost effective products.

-Practice standard drafting practices in the utilization of AutoCAD Electrical.

-Work with the electrical engineering team to develop, design, and maintain AutoCAD Electrical databases and symbols.

-Provide production drawings for Manufacturing and work with them to improve drawing packages.

-Track and monitor revisions on drawings.

-Research part history to aid in correct decision making, as well as the avoidance of duplication of previously designed parts/components.

-Generate, complete and control ECNs as required.

-Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

-AutoCAD Electrical and standard drafting procedures.

-Associates degree or combination of education and experience in lieu of a degree

-Knowledge of Value Engineering principles, NEC, NVPA, JIC principles

-Knowledge of PLC Programming.
