Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Responding to customer RFQ’s.
· Support the building of new assemblies and initiate engineering changes to assemblies.
· Assist production leadership by helping to resolve manufacturing related issues which could include review of production labor standards as well as manufacturing capacity analysis.
· Initiate production related continuous improvement initiatives
· Perform other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
· Trouble shooting & repairing electrical componentry related to wire harness production
Job Requirements:
· Ability to conceptualize and interpret a customer drawing
· Ability to read and use electrical schematics
· Detail oriented
· Good communications skills
· Strong math skills
· Understanding of workflow and familiarity with time studies
· Knowledge of ShopWorx (or similar ERP) and aptitude for working with new systems and software
· Proficient with MS Excel
· Familiar with MSWord & Outlook
· 2-year associate’s degree or 3 years of electronics work experience is preferred
