Finishing Tech ark

Responsibilities:

Insulation Prepare surfaces by cleaning and ensuring they are free of dirt, grease, or moisture before applying insulation.

Accurately measure and cut insulation materials to fit around chiller components such as pipes, tanks, compressors, and evaporators.

Install insulation on both hot and cold surfaces, ensuring proper coverage and thickness to meet specified thermal requirements.

Apply protective coatings or jacketing over insulation materials where required to protect against moisture, damage, or corrosion.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety glasses, and masks when handling insulation materials.

Inspect completed insulation work to ensure it meets quality standards and performance specifications.

Crating Plan the design and layout of the wooden crate, considering the size, weight, and fragility of the chiller, as well as any specific shipping requirements or constraints.

Select the appropriate type and quality of wood and other materials (e.g., nails, screws, bolts, strapping) needed to construct the crate.

Measure, cut, and shape lumber and other materials using hand tools, power tools, or woodworking machinery to the specified dimensions.

Assemble wooden crates by constructing the base, sides, top, and any internal supports or bracing needed to secure the chiller during transport.

Wrap the chiller with the stretch wrap provided.

Secure the chiller within the crate using appropriate methods such as bolting, strapping, or cushioning to prevent movement during transit.

Inspect completed crates to ensure they meet design specifications and are constructed to withstand the shipping process.

Verify that the chiller is properly secured and protected within the crate, making adjustments as necessary to ensure safety and stability.

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection while working with woodworking tools and machinery.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Demonstrated proficiency in operating a forklift a plus.

Strong attention to detail.

Can work on hands and knees for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, often weighing up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced work environment.

Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety regulations and guidelines.

Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Excellent attendance record.
