1st and 2nd Shift General Labor - snn

Core Responsibility:

• Measure, compare and make simple or complex shop calculations necessary to ensure products are in conformance with engineering or sales specifications using materials, methods and equipment in the shop(included but not limited to: sanders, drills, air and electric hand cutting tools)

• Material fit ups and layouts with steel

• Position and secure workpieces using hoists, cranes, wire and banding machines or hand tools

• Inspect products/equipment for defects/malfunctions

• Sanding/grinding

• Breaking out steel

• Material handling/forklift

Required:              

• Manufacturing experience

• Able to read blueprints

• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve

• Must be highly motivated

• Able to communicate and work well with others

• Read, write and speak English fluently

• Must pass competency test  and pre-employment physical including drug screen
