ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintain 100% inventory accuracy by keeping track of all inventory received, issued, transferred and shipped. All data entry to be done using on-line inventory management system and document center.
Processes all inventory transactions in a timely manner according to company policies and procedures.
Performs cycle counts of all inventory items.
Ensure the warehouse and inventory control areas are kept clean and organized. All inventory will be kept in its proper location and clearly labeled.
Verifies accuracy of shipments received against packing list and purchase order.
Resolves discrepancies or disputes concerning inventoried items, materials, parts, components and tools.
Shares the responsibility of inventory control with peer Inventory Control Specialist and Lead in seven day/week coverage of the warehouse. All Inventory, Tools, Equipment and Consumables will be accounted for.
Maintains a safe working environment in accordance with OSHA, Talgo, Inc., and Amtrak standards at all times.
Enforces all applicable FRA, OSHA, FDA and other agency rules, regulations, laws and standards.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum 1 year SAP experience
Minimum of 6 months of Material/Inventory Control, Warehouse, Forklift, Shipping/Receiving or any other Supply Chain Duties
High School Diploma/GED
