Job Responsibilities

• Read, understand, and build from Mechanical Drawings
• Interact with Engineers, Designers, and other coworkers in a professional and positive manner
• Maintain a high level of machine and shop safety
• CNC programming and operation
• Produce parts on manual machinery
• Production of highly precise parts
• Make recommendations on the production of parts to be machined
• Produce sub-assembly from parts made in the shop
• Inspect parts produced in the shop

Requirements

• Completion of Machine Tooling Technics program or applicable job experience
• Knowledge of the machine build process
• Background in machine tool from related courses or informal training
• Working with manual equipment or CNC experience would be a plus
• Knowledge of personal computers and software programs
• Highly effective interpersonal skills
