Maintenance - 1st Shift jnf
Essential Functions of the Job:
Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment following an established schedule.
Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and annual inspections of machinery and equipment as scheduled.
Install, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment using detailed failure analysis to maintain production levels throughout the facilities.
Identify defective machines and equipment and install new or repaired parts, following specification and blueprints, using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
Strict adherence with all established safety procedures and wear all required PPE, without fail.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of machines, tools, including their design, uses, repair and maintenance
Experience with CMMS and knowledge of preventative and routine maintenance of equipment.
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and forklift operation.
Basic understanding of HVAC.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical machine repair along with crane and lifting device repair.
Able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, operator's manuals, and assembly instructions.
Above average mechanical aptitude.
Hands-on attitude and ability.
The ability to meet deadlines.
Able to wear personal protective equipment.
Able to work overtime and/or including weekends as production schedules dictate.
Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a clean driving history.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED required and 3 or more years of experience or related technical education.
Working Conditions:
Able to perform work in a non-climate-controlled metal manufacturing production environment
Must be able to communicate with supervisors and fellow employees
Requires (Near, Far, Depth and Color) vision
Must be able to work in an environment with noise(With 25decibal ear plugs in) at 75 decibels
Must be able to be on his/her feet, on concrete, for 90% of their shift and be able to walk up to 75% of that 90%
A maintenance employee must be able to climb 13ft by way of 12inch rung ladders
Must be able to lift, push and or pull up to 40lbs and carry that weight 5ft
Assemblers must be able to bend, stoop and crouch
