Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs equipment and building repairs
Provides quick response to production downtime
Setup of tooling and machinery
Performs routine preventative maintenance
Use of a computer to create and maintain purchase orders, maintenance, and repair logs
Follows established safety rules and regulations
Required Skills/Knowledge:
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and understand manuals, electrical diagrams, drawings
Knowledge of PLC’s and electronic controls is a plus
Experience with extrusion or industrial equipment is a plus
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Must be highly motivated, and have the ability to work independently as well as with a team
Education and Experience:
Technical, Associates, Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
2+ years of hands-on facilities and/or equipment maintenance experience
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to walk, bend, stoop, balance and stand for long periods of time
Must be able to use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp and move a variety of materials
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
