Maintenance Tech - 3 Needed
Company is open to unskilled people as long as they have some mechanical aptitude and can be trained.
Basic hours are M-F 8:00am – 4:30pm, but there will be weekends, especially on turnover day season, 1st week of June basically through the end of August.
They prefer Temp to Hire.
JOB DESCRIPTION –
Experienced Maintenance Technician
Looking for an experienced maintenance technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will report to the Maintenance Team Leader and will work with the property management and operations teams to ensure that the properties managed by company are kept up to applicable standards. Applicants must be customer-service driven and be able to handle the daily challenges associated with the property management industry and maintaining multiple residences.
Responsibilities / Duties:
• Ensure that the physical aspects of multiple properties meet company standards and applicable laws
• Competently diagnose problems and make repairs in the areas of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair
• Develop an understanding of the company portfolio, inventory, and SOP’s
• Communicate with the Property Management team to ensure that property residents and owners are kept in the loop on applicable maintenance projects
• Complete work-order reports thoroughly
• Handle and document inventory appropriately
• Understand the general facets of property management
• Complete work orders and handle inventory
• Interact professionally with residents, office staff, and vendors as needed
Requirements:
• Experience in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair
• Driver's license and insured personal vehicle for daily use (company pays mileage).
• Live within a 30 miles radius of downtown Madison, WI
• Comfortable using computers and smart phones preferred
Hours / Benefits:
• This is a full time position Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Overtime: On-call and weekend hours as-needed
