Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to determine the dimensions and shapes required for metal parts.

 Selecting appropriate cutting tools, machines, and equipment based on the specifications of the job.

 Operating cutting machines, such as saws, drills, and CNC machines, to cut and shape metal materials accurately.

 Measuring and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet the required specifications and tolerances.

 Following safety procedures and guidelines to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries.

 Collaborating with other team members, such as engineers and designers, to ensure that the parts meet the required specifications and are produced efficiently.

Qualifications

 Experience in cutting metal materials, or carpentry.

 Knowledge of cutting tools, machines, and equipment used in metal cutting.

 Good math skills and the ability to perform accurate measurements.

 Familiarity with safety procedures and guidelines for working cutting machines and tools.

 Excellent attention to detail.

 Strong problem solving skills.

 Good communication and teamwork skills.

 Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.; team lift products weighing over 50 lbs.

 Ability to stand for long periods of time.

 Ability to write; able to read printed and written instructions.

 Ability to maintain a clean work environment and follow 5S procedures.

 Ability to work overtime depending on schedule and workload.
