Paint Batcher - 3rd Shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Sandblast parts per instructions on Batch Line Sheet
Understands how to effectively blast parts of different size, weight, and geometry to internal and customer standards.
Logs jobs in manufacturing software.
Reads and understands batch sheet instructions and basic blueprint reading.
Records correct quality records.
Keeps batch area organized and clean.
Operates company forklift with certification.
Ability to work with limited supervision while meeting productions rates and quality standards.
Package parts per batch sheet instructions.
Operates and understands pressure washing system to effectively wash iron phosphate parts for proper adhesion.
Reads and understands paint inspection equipment including film gauges, delta e-meter, gloss meter, and completes visual inspection of parts.
Works with supervision to schedule upcoming jobs in the batch area.
Works in other areas of paint department as needed.
Uses safe and proper techniques in moving and hanging large and small parts.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED; six months to one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
