Production Machining Center Set Up/Operate
• Successful candidates must be able to:
o Efficiently set-up and operate close tolerance production machining centers.
o Read scales, micrometers, indicators, height gage and digital calipers.
o Work from drawings and quality work instructions (QWI’s).
o Perform all set-up responsibilities and operate the machines under minimal supervision and within the standard time.
o Operate the overhead crane to load material.
o Perform other miscellaneous job duties as assigned based upon business needs.
The position requires occasional heavy physical exertion such as loosening tooling, moving heavy pans, lifting tooling, and loading material stock.
