2nd shift Production Supervisor

1:45pm- 10:15pm

PositionOverview

This position is responsible for overseeing production and packaging of all products per customer/internal specs.

 Supervises/Oversees Job Titles:

o  All shift production employees

 Major Responsibilities

o  Lead by example. Encourage and support Team.

o  Oversee the production of products produced per customer or internal specs.

o  Oversee the packaging of products produced per customer or internal specs.

o  Oversee the development of all shift employees.

o  Oversee necessary changes to employees and equipment to achieve efficiency standards.    

o  Oversee necessary changes to employees and equipment to achieve quality standards.  

o  Make sure that all cleaning is meeting company standards through swab testing and/or follow up inspections.

o  Make sure that all necessary data is being recorded on required intervals.

o  Make sure that general housekeeping duties are being done and comply with the standards of food safety.

o   Make sure that equipment is being maintained by doing general inspections of equipment, performing basic mechanical troubleshooting and reporting any repair needs to maintenance.

Food and Personnel Safety Related Job Duties

o  To follow/support all food safety procedures given at annual trainings.

o  To follow/support all personnel safety procedures given at annual trainings.

o  You must alert the maintenance or safety if you find any mechanical or unsafe condition.

o  You must notify QA and Management of any food safety issues or concerns.

Act as a backup to the following titles/roles in case of absence 

Other responsibilities

o  Any tasks assigned by Plant Manager

Required Training

o  Food safety, Personnel safety and Positional training

Requirements

o  Ability to lift 50lbs

o  Ability to walk / stand on your feet for up to 8 hours or more

o  Ability to read / write English effectively.

o  Ability to perform mathematics – addition, subtraction, division, multiplication and percentages

o  Ability to work in warm environments
