Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift gea
Job Duties
• Perform inspections of finished or in-process goods to ensure work instructions are met and rework or reject as required
• Use of required gaging instruments and the application of such instruments
• Complete first piece inspection if needed (i.e., checks that items produced pass quality control requirements)
• Record statistical data and input data entry
• Assist in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists
• Analyze data and write summaries to validate or show deviations from existing standards
• Perform audits to ensure standards of quality are maintained
• Escalate issues when needed
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
• Perform work under general supervision
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
• 2 to 4 years of experience
