Qualifications:

• Experience reading blueprints
• Strong math skills and analytical skills
• Understanding of material certifications and calibration standards
• Ability to identify opportunities to reduce scrap, rework, and customer returns by collaborating with the Production Team and Quality Manager
• Ability to promote a culture of quality and follow through on tasks per required standards
• Work independently, quickly, and accurately in an environment with changing/fluctuating priorities
• Detail oriented and thorough with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer service-oriented attitude with ability to communicate effectively with customers and thoroughly understand their requirements
• Strong desire to assist in developing leading indicator metrics to improve company performance

Requirements:

• Associates degree in a related field or 3 years of equivalent experience.
• PPAP knowledge required.
• Knowledge of metal fabrication processes including lasers, CNC turret punches, press brakes, welding, sawing and milling operations.
• Experience or interest in using a CMM machine. Programming knowledge is a substantial plus.
• Experience using monitoring/measuring equipment and other inspection tools and gauges for sampling, testing, and reporting is required.
• Knowledge of welding processes and fundamentals.
