Blueprint reading, use and care of standard hand measuring tools. The ability to learn to operate manual and automated CMM’s. Have a basic understanding of gauge R&R studies and Statistical process control charting. Have a basic understanding of Geometric Tolerancing. Know how to convert from metric measure to English measure. Be familiar with ISO-9001 documentation requirements.
High school Diploma, proficient at high school mathematics, through Trigonometry. Any training or experience in machine operation, auto mechanics, metrology, or mechanical drawing would be a plus.
Looking for an individual that has some experience with tight tolerance dimensions, use of standard inspection hand tools and preferably using and/or programming a CMM.
