‘Sales Engineer’
Position Responsibilities described herein entails sales inquiry processing & related engineering job requirements
but not limited to the following objectives:
Become knowledgeable in all product lines and their general system applications.
Obtain a clear understanding in the use of the Web Engineering Program (C-WEP).
Specifically utilize and rely on C-WEP’s 5S ‘Sales Follow-up Program’ by applying a minimum of 30% of
one’s time on the phone and/or a minimum of 30 follow-up phone calls per day.
Obtain a clear understanding of how to prepare, present, and issue a Savings Analysis Study (SAS)
proposal for all qualified RFQs which become a job reference number (Ref#).
Maintain RFQ inquiries as assigned as they become a Ref#s and follow through each towards an ultimate
specific conclusion.
Utilize the ‘Call and Confirm’ (C&C) protocol for typically initializing any inquiry within C-WEP’s program,
always with a call first, confirmed with an auto email, & concluding the call with the next scheduled follow-up
call.
Develop techniques through the C&C protocol, to blend product & savings/pollution education so that the
typical Rep or Reseller (Call Contact) can more comfortably and ideally transcend important points to the
end user’s education, understanding, and belief in the need to purchase.
Learn within the C&C follow-up system to implement the underlining theme of presenting and educating
through C-WEP presentation’s Join.me protocol, while developing CC relationships.
Learn other various sales applicable software modules regarding the company’s main ‘Windows’
programs for generating i.e. S.O. acknowledgements and accessing Contacts.
Generate as required with the ‘Parts Quotes’ generator, spare parts & post sale installation components as
required.
Assist with customer sales questions regarding drawings, heat rejection calculations, weights and
dimension, etc.
Become involved as required in checking one’s sold job customer submittal drawings and applicable
electrical schematics.
As product/system skill develops, respond to occasional customer service questions.
