Service Technician
Service Technicians frequently correspond with customers, maintain oversight of equipment, service machinery, and travel to customer facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supports ProFill Can Filling Systems through assembly and at customer production facilities.
• Performs hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on ProFill filling systems to verify proper functionality.
• Trains customers for successful operation and maintenance of ProFill filling systems.
• Performs start-up tasks for new filling systems; Checks power and electrical interconnect wiring; Verify mechanical component functionality; Establish proper product transitions through machine; Communicate with team to solve technical problems or project updates.
• Audits and documents performance of existing equipment during service visits.
• Prepares accurate and timely service work reports, expense reports, and other supporting documentation for customer visits.
Required Skills:
• Knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems; preferably in the packaging industry.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform mechanical and physical tasks.
• Familiar with the use of precision measurement tools. (Caliper, feeler gauge, planar gauge)
• Understanding the safe operation of hand tools and power equipment.
• Well-developed skills in problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Effective communication skills, verbal as well as written.
• Willingness to travel. (Primarily domestic travel / USA)
