Supervisor - 2nd Shift gea

Supervisor – 2nd shift for both locations

JOB DUTIES:

o Provide manning assignments to all associates.

o Manage department labor reporting

o Manage production schedule in Excel

o Train new hires/Cross-train existing employees

o Responsible for department quality output and reporting

o Manage operator daily/ weekly Preventative Maintenance tasks

o Responsible for department safety and EHS

o Manage labor reports daily/weekly

o Provide performance feedback to subordinate associates.

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· High School diploma/GED required

· Associate degree preferred

· Prior supervisory experience required

· Functional experience in a department (CNC machining)

· Ability to train/mentor others

· Formal Training in supervision preferred

· Prior Lean training preferred

· Strong computer skills preferred

· Good communication skills – verbal and written

· Prior experience in both Job shop (low volume/ high mix) and Production ( high volume / low mix) business models.

· Servant leader type supervisory style

· Ability to manage/ supervisor multiple departments

COMPENSATION BASIS: Hourly
