-Good math skills-metric, standard

-Ability to work with minimal supervision

-Ability to read and understand welding symbols

-Must have the skills and prior experience welding to AWS D1.1 code, as well as ASME Section IX

-Prior machine shop experience is helpful

-Accurately use all measuring instruments and tools

-Experience reading and interpreting drawings and blue prints, including weld symbols and machining notations
