Welder-Medium and Heavy Plate Welding - ajc

Weld to AWS, ASME or customer specification.

• Weld Types: GMAW, FCAW, GTAW and SAW (submerged arc welding)

• Ability to weld medium and heavy-duty plate and other structures

• Select and install proper welding wires and gas mixtures

• Experience with 3/32 flux core submerge arc preferred

• Knowledge of various welding procedures

• Must be able to read drawings and must know various weld symbols

• Ability to work with minimal supervision

• Experience with operating cranes and forklifts

• Ability to work with others

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Technical education in welding preferred
