Business Development Manager ina

Job Summary

Manages an organization's business development efforts meant to generate, pursue, and close business with prospect accounts.

Job Duties

  • Oversee implementation and administration of the organization's business development program
  • Assess potential new markets, evaluate business opportunities, and develop strategies for targeting potential customers
  • Establish and enforce standards governing lead generation, prospect contact and follow-up and opportunity qualification
  • Coach a team of business development representatives in assessing customer needs and positioning the organization's products or services as potential solutions
  • Track business development activities and report on results to management
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

  • Experience in Sales or Account Management required.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to develop a rapport with leadership and team members.
  • Strong communication/presentation skills, verbal and written.
  • Create and maintain project documentation
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree in Business Management or Sales
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Experience in manufacturing
