Summary of Position

Works under the general supervision of the Plant/Facilities Engineering Director.

·         Establishes, maintains and ensures consistent “application of” and “data integratory within” the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Required to interface with maintenance, purchasing, and inventory functions daily in the support of planned work by both the Guhring maintenance team and outside contractors.

Principal Responsibilities

·         Manages and troubleshoots the CMMS. Identifies opportunities to upgrade or replace hardware/software to meet the current and future needs of its users.

·         Coordinates with Engineering and CMMS users to facilitate the development of equipment records, PM tasks, PM schedules, PM part inventories and other data.

·         Maintains (revises or deletes) records in key data within the CMMS in response preventative maintenance program changes (examples of which include creating new task records, revising PM tasks/schedules, reassigning active PM during vacation coverage). Evaluates change proposals, coordinates change development, and implements change. Develops tests and evaluates application responses to changes in operating, application, and data environments.

·         Preforms data entry duties for closing out PM

·         Designs and creates reports and other reporting tools used in work order and inventory analysis graphs.

·         Coordinates with the Department’s management for preventative maintenance scheduling on critical assets.

·         Coordinates external contract maintenance by assisting in the documentation of the work request, requisition/approval, scheduling, execution and invoicing/closeout.

·         Assist production/maintenance staff in the creation of SAP requisitions for ordering miscellaneous supplies and materials.

·         Assist in the CS part ordering/return process for international shipments by facilitating the creation on necessary documentation and physical shipping preparation.

·         Assists in the coordination of waste disposal and reasonable for environmental record keeping.

·         Assists the Quality Manager in performing periodic audits and the production of periodic performance reports of maintenance metrics in support of IOS compliance.

·         Performs other duties as assigned such as PM inspections of safety systems, emergency part pickup/delivery and perform minor maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS

·         Two years of experience in CMMS, creating reports, and training users.

·         Proficient in computers use and programs such as outlook, MS excel, MS word and MS PowerPoint.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs)

·         Knowledge of, and skill in using, database management software.

·         Knowledge of report writing and tools used for work order analysis and inventory analysis.

·         Knowledge and skill in troubleshooting system irregularities CMMS use.

·         General knowledge of work order, purchasing, and warehousing processes.

·         Ability to perform detailed analysis of data and information, and make recommendations.

·         Ability to speak and write effectively, with emphasis on the ability to train system users.

·         Ability to effectively interface with outside contractors and suppliers.

·         Ability to perform external short distance trips in an efficiently manner when performing emergency part pickup/delivery.

·         Skill in using a computer and modern office software, with emphasis on database systems.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·         Experience with computer management system/software such as FT Maintenance.

·         Experience with collaboration and work management software such as Smartsheet.

·         Experience with a database reporting tool such as Crystal Reports.

·         Knowledge of lean tools and continuous improvement.

EDUCATION

·         Preferred associate's degree in related field.

·         Alternative is high school diploma (or a Certificate of General Educational Development) and a combination of experience / training needed to satisfy the minimum education requirement.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES REQUIRED

·         A state driver’s license in good standing.
