Maintenance Technicians - All Shifts act
Principal Responsibilities
· Perform work safely and in compliance with company policies.
· Install mechanical equipment.
· Install electrical equipment.
· Maintain mechanical equipment.
· Troubleshoot mechatronic systems.
· Operate machine shop tools and machines.
· Weld and fabricate parts.
· Maintain automation systems.
· Modify devices and systems.
· Maintain documents and records.
Education
High School diploma or GED
Skills/experience
· Ability to read, interpret and follow blueprints, shop routings and specific engineering notes related to unique customer specifications.
· Have basic math and trigonometry skills.
· Demonstrated mechanical and electrical knowledge and repair abilities.
· Certifications in OSHA programs and practices preferred.
Physical Requirements/Working Condition
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; sit; use hand to handle, or feel objects, tool or controls; and reach with hands and arms.The employee frequently is required to walk.The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear and smell.The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
