Responsibilities and duties

· Use SolidWorks to create designs and drawings of products

· Organize and maintain existing engineering records

· Construct and confirm designs with Engineering team

· Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards

· Interact with various departments to help construct models and drawings of products

· Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions including time and scope involved

Requirements and Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in design engineering or related work experience, engineering, product design or related field; metal cutting industry related is preferred.

· 3-5 years‘ previous experience in a similar role

· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SolidWorks

· Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

· Accurate and precise attention to detail

· Creative and innovative thinker and planner
