Project Manager act

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Manager transformer orders accepted by company adhering to the Company

Project Management processes Coordinate the execution of various project tasks between multiple departments as required per the last contractual milestone of the transformer project.

Review customer specifications, requirements, and contracts for all orders accepted by the Company to ensure comprehension of transformer project requirements.

Complete project execution processes including, but not limited to, project kick-off meetings, weekly schedule updates for customers, timely internal communication for alignment with engineering,

operations, service and logistics, change orders, financial invoicing, and project closeout meetings.

These activities shall be completed per the defined company, KPI targets.

Use SAP Project Systems software to analyze and manage all aspects of the order's / project's lifecycle including oversight of scheduling, resource load analysis, billing, delivery, etc.

Support all groups (transformer engineering department, outsourced engineering and manufacturing suppliers, and customers) on all technical questions and product capabilities.

Understand IEEE, NEMA, and ANSI industry standards for design / application of transformers.

Positively represent the company as a leader in the industry during all customer meetings / interactions.

Analyze and report project performance during internal meetings.

Enhance customer experience and satisfaction through frequent and insightful customer communication.

Coordinate and facilitate Customer visits such as customer inspections, witnessing of tests and plant tours.

Coordinate the submission and return of approval drawings to meet customer needs and project schedules.

Assist in the resolution of issues delaying the timely payment of invoices.

Proactively manage change orders for financial risk mitigation.

Ensure milestones are invoiced per project plans to company financial health.

Utilize Qlik and SAP software for daily, project management standard work.

Communicate effectively with transparency and facts, to key stakeholders for team alignment.

Calculate liquidated damages, penalties, and escalation per transformer contract

Demonstrate accountability and ownership of transformer projects.

Be organized, come prepared, and lead internal (cross-functional) and external (customer) meetings that drive project success

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

· Technical project management, including software-driven project scheduling changes and decision-

making and problem solving.

· Utilizing all related internal information systems including CRDB, IOS, and SAP for transformers

· An excellent team player with strong people skills; able to build relationships at all levels of the

organization

· Effective, customer-focused communication skills, including verbal (logical and organized), written,

listening and presentation

· Progressively responsible experience in a relevant engineered-product environment

· Demonstrated experience of dealings with confidential data, complex and constantly changing problems and a strong display of initiative

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Required Education / Experience

· Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Preferred Education / Experience

· Project Management Courses or Certification

· Transformer applications and overall power system design

· Transformer mechanical, electrical, and control system design
