Quality Control Inspector act

Must be able to read gages etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform visual inspections of product for conformance to established criteria.

2. Clean product as needed for processing preparation and inspection.

3. Set-up testing equipment according to instructions using various types of tools.

4. Perform functional or dimensional tests using specified equipment.

5. Determine piece counts of acceptable and rejected product.

6. Record inspection results on provided worksheets.

7. Package product per requirements.

8. Transport product to the designated next point of processing.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Required:

· A high school diploma or equivalent, and 2-5 years work experience.

Preferred:

· Technical certification.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

· Possesses ability to read and interpret drawings and write reports as needed. Must be able to write and speak English and able to communicate with co-workers and supervisors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

· Must be able to use math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of numbers, including decimals and fractions.

REASONING ABILITIES

· Some judgment is required to apply product acceptance criteria in accordance with standard methods and procedures.

Must be able to stand, bend, reach and count at a work station and walk in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to grasp and work with small parts. Must be able to read fine print at times. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
