Welder/Fabricator dmt

Seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator that is also open to assembly and other duties as needed.

Duties:

As the Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for reading blueprints and shop drawings to weld component parts and completing fabrications using the appropriate equipment and technique to produce a tight tolerance, high quality product.

Welder Fabricator will be expected to manage complete fabrication projects which include print reading, setup, dimensioning, fabricating, welding, analyzing work orders and completed assemblies.

This role will split time, roughly 50/50, between welding and assembling base mounted equipment.

In his role, you will train side by side with the lead welder fabricator, working to become the lead as he plans for retirement.

Requirements:

5+ years of MIG welding and fabrication experience required.

Strong fabrication and assembly skills required.

One-year Technical School diploma preferred.

Ability to see a full fabrication project through from start to finish.

Strong print reading skills required.

Proficiency in using precision measuring tools and related equipment.

Experience with metal core, gas shielded flux core, heavy gauge wild steel.

Tig welding experience is a plus.
