CNC Set Up Lead - 2nd shift act
Primary Responsibilities:
· Complete first piece inspections and make adjustments to bring the parts and process in compliance with prints using the proper calibrated measuring devices.
· Reads and interprets blueprints
· Verify production rates and communicate with fabrication supervisor if rates need adjusting.
· Set tools, pick up zero points and run through new and repeat programs.
· Programs the CNC machine as needed.
· Advises management if there are any issues that should be addressed with regards to company policy or procedures on assigned shifts.
· Assists with production as needed.
· Initiates action to prevent non-conformances, including shutting equipment down.
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 5 years experience running CNC machines
· A good understanding of quality requirements and inspection
· Proficient in CNC Set up, Offsets, and Tool changes
· Experience working within a leadership or training position
