Electrical Design Engineer jdd

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Engage in all phases of product development, including concept, architecture, design, test, and service support

2. Work with cross-functional teams to take a design from specification through design, development, test, and delivery.

3. Review and develop technical specifications.

4. Design electronic assemblies for specification compliance.

5. Verify that designs meet or exceed all requirements and specifications per customer order.

6. Analyze analog, digital, and power circuit designs.

7. Perform detailed technical analyses and create test and analysis reports when necessary.

8. Develop technical solutions to known production, reliability, or performance problem.

9. Generate design documentation to ensure the delivery of a quality finished product.

10. Facilitate design reviews with key stake holders, including Design Engineering, Production and Manufacturing.

11. From time to time, travel may be necessary to facilitate sales support and or service support.

12. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to develop, qualify, and support electronic assemblies for use in Bushman Equipment’s products.

Qualifications

· BS in Electrical Engineering required. 3+ years of experience in occupation is preferred.

· Knowledge of schematic entry and board layout tools is preferred.

· Experience with circuit simulation tools is preferred.

· Experience in electronics design, development, and test is preferred.

· Must be capable of working independently and collaborating with other team members including Mechanical Engineers, Sales Associates, and end users if required.

· Strong verbal and written skills required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, occasionally loud.
