Health & Safety Coordinator
• Develops, coordinates, and implements all health and safety related programs within the organization including safety committees and safety training.
• Organizes and maintains the company's safety data sheets (SDS)
• Investigates accidents and problems and prepares accident reports.
• Implements corrective actions for accidents with input from Departmental Heads.
• Inspect First Aid Kits/AED and work with vendors.
• Annual hearing and blood lead testing.
• Update Worker's Compensation and DART information
• Coordinate and handle Hazardous Waste and Wastewater Permits
• Reports Worker's Comp claims to the insurance company
• Completes all OSHA logs and forms (i.e. OSHA Form 300)
• Issues LOTO sets and trains on their use
Health & Safety Regulatory Compliance
• Conducts research and familiarizes themselves with company and government regulations to meet all necessary health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Executes and monitors FMLA and Worker's Comp claims.
Company Representative Professionally represents the company with customers, governmental agencies (including OSHA) and third-party administrators.
New Hire Orientation Coordinator
• Conducts New Hire Safety Orientations
• New Hire Unifo1m Coordination.
• Coordination of Safety, Cell Coordinator, HR and Quality Orientations .
HR Support- General• Attendance Tracking and Preparing Disciplinary Notices
• Data Collection Approval Back Up
• 19 verifications
• New Hire and Termination checklist coordination
• Maintenance of Shop Floor Job Descriptions
• Oversee Janitorial Services & Supplies
• Miscellaneous Tasks - HR hours calendar, employee work hours, annual MRA shop wage survey, organizational chart, enter vacation slips on calendar, birthday announcements.
• Writes and trains operating instructions as necessary.
• Coordinates the distribution of ISO tests to employees as necessary
• Maintains documentation of test status
• Assists departments with past due documents and sends out voting requests as needed.
• Internal "Show Me" Audits of existing Operating Instructions
• Assists with annual ISO Audit (HR/Maintenance/ QA)
• Special Projects for ISO
Training Facilitator Training facilitator for shop related operations including OSHA, Safety and ISO.
Maintenance Work Order Coordinator (MWO}
• Creates MWO's in system and distributes to Maintenance and President
• Follows up on open MWOs and updates spreadsheet
• Walk through with fire department annually.
• Coordinates Sprinkler Inspections annually.
Daily/Weekly Updates Sends out required updates on items such as: Employee Review Status, Maintenance Work Order Status, ISO Documentation Status.
