REQUIRED COMPETENCIES, QUALIFICATIONS, AND BASIC SKILL LEVELS:

• High School education supplemented by a on-the-job training program, including outside training.

• High School education or equivalent prior work experience for position and supplemented by basic training on Laser cutting equipment

• General knowledge in shop practices and techniques

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Operation of laser cutting machine to cut single or multiple pieces from sheet and plate stock, etc.

• Make minor adjustments as needed.

• Use a variety of precision measuring instruments.

• Work is subject to procedures relating to your department.

• Other duties as instructed or directed by direct supervisor.
