ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
• Repair all production equipment and plant equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems during production.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working on equipment.
• Utilize schematics and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Perform routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs of production machinery, and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and ensure long-term reliability of equipment.
• Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Maintain records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and inspections.
• Assist in installing new machinery or equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve equipment-related issues.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, maintaining a safe and efficient environment.
• Stay current on new technology and best practices related to equipment maintenance. QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery and electrical systems.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. • Knowledge of industrial safety practices and the ability to work safely with equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance or repair role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
