Material Handler (inspection) snn
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Inspection – 80%
Inspect parts to provided drawing.
Pin stamp parts for identification.
Match packing slips to PO’s for receiving.
Tag parts for job identification.
Document and prep parts for Black Oxide/Heat Treating.
Receive and sort parts from Black Oxide/Heat Treating.
Organize routings per job.
Relay rework drawings and parts to Assembly.
Clean and sweep the Inspection area.
Stock Cutting – 10%
Select proper material for cutting in accordance with job specifications.
Cut material to a specified length.
Sort incoming material and match with appropriate routing.
Organize raw stock and cut materials for proper identification.
Clean and sweep material storing area.
Forklift Driving – 10%
Loading and unloading vans and dock trucks.
Assist with the Shipping/Receiving dept.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Requires education equivalent to two years of high school and the ability to use simple measuring instruments, a lifting crane, and drive a forklift.
