Essential Job Functions
• Performs production MIG welding following standardized work processes and quality procedures.
• Make minor repairs/adjustments to MIG welding equipment.
• Complete tasks requiring continuous and repetitive movement.
• Weld metal parts together using MIG welding.
• Apply welds per specifications to produce completed product.
• Monitors the fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion, or expansion of material.
• Make every effort to increase efficiency without compromising quality.
• Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects.
• Move raw material, scrap or finished goods with lifting equipment.
• Flexible with overtime and weekends as required.
Education & Experience
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
Qualifications
• 1+ years of MIG/Tack welding experience.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English
• Experience with basic fabrication hand tools and equipment.
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Excellent attendance.
Physical Demands
• Ability to lift up to 30 LBS, lift twist, grab, stand (up to 8 to 10 hours), walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations
