Welder - 1st Shift gea

JOB DUTIES:

· Read engineering documents such as prints, routing, and process instructions to weld carbon, stainless, aluminum, and other alloys

· MIG and TIG welding

· Assemble part using proper tools/techniques/fixtures

· Proper handling of measurement tools and completing inspection reports

· Attention to Weld QA (finishes, distortion, etc)

· Forward welded parts to next operation

· Fill out scrap report

· Maintain all equipment in good operating condition

· Track progress in ERP software

· Always keep work area neat, clean and safe

· Safely perform all responsibilities and in adherence to company policy

· Maintain good attendance

· Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

· Ability to communicate with others verbally and in writing

· Attention to detail

· Computer knowledge

· Ability to use inspection tools

· Proficient with in position (benchtop) and turntable welding

· Ability to set up MIG and TIG preferable

· Walk and stand for entire shift

· Ability to lift 40 pounds unassisted
